Materials for reed roofs

Reed as a roofing material has proven value over the years. A correctly and qualitatively applied reed roof lasts more than a hundred years. Reeds are the most ecologically clean roofing material. They are not impregnated with harmful chemicals.

Reeds as a material are harvested (collected) on lakes or near sea shores. Which grows anew every year, the more cultivated the reed meadow, the higher the quality of the new reeds. The reeds should be firm, sunny yellow and the recommended diameter is 0.6-1.2 cm.
